With A Duke’s Keeper making its debut in a week, I wanted to post in case any readers find themselves confused about how book 2 deviates from traditional timelines.
I’m guilty of picking up a historical romance, reading the back, and taking it home only to discover it is the third book in a series. While most readers will experience little confusion in the way of plot or characters by reading other series out of order, The Dark Duke Series has an overall plot that carries through three books. The ultimate plan needed three books to set up and establish how dangerous our villain in the shadows truly is. The series will end with book 3 with Percy (our loveable scamp and my personal favorite) surrounded by the full cast from book 1 and book2.
